NURSERY DUTY SUNDAY

Up to a sunny morning after heavy rains during the night left 1.7 inches of rain in the gauge from Nestor as the storm moved through and off the coast this morning.
I got chores done then we shredded the chicken and added rice to the crock pot , put corn on the stove and carrots in the pressure pot to get ready for lunch after church.
Today was our quarterly nursery duty day and hubbie and I along with one of the youth girls and d-in-love who came in after she played music took care of 6 little 2 and under year olds.
IR stayed with us in the nursery but wasn't so sure about any of the other kids. She did play some with little Izzy who is probably half her age.
We came home to fix some Delicata squash, green beans and biscuits to go along with the corn and chicken and rice.
Everyone made it to lunch today, #1 son's family, #2 son and Tif, daughter's family and Aa's family and one of g-son's friends, Connor.
After we ate g-son got to put 13 candles on his favorite caramel cake and blow them out after we sang happy "late" birthday to him.

All the kids had fun and the big boys enjoyed playing the new Life game I bought. Connor knew how to play so he taught g-son so he can teach the rest of us.
IR wanted to stay here while her mom and dad ran an errand then daughter picked her up later.
Hubbie and I relaxed for a while this afternoon then got chores done and moved some of my older hens into the chicken tractor so I can get pictures and sell them.
They will be surprised in the morning to have a new patch of green grass to graze on.
We came inside at dark and relaxed for the evening.
Daughter sent me this pic of the first time CA sat in a bouncy seat tonight and she looks happy in it.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the love of Jesus Christ.
God Bless and Good Night
