TREE CUTTING DAY

Friyay!!!!!  Today started off regurlarly with g-son and RL here at 7 am. Hubbie took g-son to school then stayed here to wait for the tree cutters to come while I took RL to pre-school.
Our pastor also has a tree cutting business. He looked a t a very dead tree right beside our house earlier and said he would cut it down for us so he called hubbie last night and they are coming this morning to take care of it.
I dropped RL and then stopped at Ingles to pick up a couple things daughter needed for a large cup cake order she had and dropped them by her house. She had an extra cupcake and IR was getting to decorate it and eat it and she was doing a great job.

I came  home to find the yard full of trucks and machinery as Craig was already high in the dead tree and already sawing the top out of it.

They were having to rope each section down to avoid damage to the house or my chicken fence wire.
But they did a great job with nothing hitting anything.

They got finished just in time for us to leave and pick RL up from pre-school.
She went to sleep on the way home and took a good long nap after she got here. Son's hot water heater went out last night so I'm sure she had a later night than usual.
I baked cakes while she napped. I baked 6 caramel, 3 pound, 1 applesauce and a pan of brownies.
Daughter was driving the bus for the Boys and Girls Club today so she brought IR and CA over about 2:00 and RL woke up to play.
CA watched me get the last of my cakes in and out of the ovens while hubbie took the older girls out to eat popsicles .
When the other girls came inside all three of them played out in the sunroom.

When hubbie went to pick up g-son from school he stopped back by son's house and brought the new hot water heater box up for the girls to play in and they enjoyed that.

After the girls were picked up hubbie and I went out to get chores done and then finish digging our potatoes.
We were very disappointed this year with the small harvest we got. These potatoes were very late coming up last spring so we don't know if it was bad seed or the weather but we only got a little over 2 half bags of small potatoes from the 4 rows we planted.
We finished just as darkness fell and were glad to get inside to rest our backs a few minutes.
I finished out the evening icing cakes and getting things ready for market.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
