SHOPPING TRIP AND 1999 MEMORIES

Up to greet g-son and RL at 7 am and get back on regular schedule this morning. Hubbie took g-son to school , while he's gone I get dressed and then do chores as soon as he gets back.
This morning daughter and her girls came over at 8:00 and we all got in my Honda and dropped RL off at pre-school then headed to Spartanburg ,SC to a Dick's Sporting Goods outlet that just recently opened down there.
We got there right after 9:30 but the store didn't open until 10am . We only had about an hour to shop when we got in so we all split up and did our own thing. Hubbie took IR with him and daughter kept CA and I kind of went between them while shopping. I didn't find much except for some skorts that I have been looking for.
It is more of a young folks store but hubbie managed to find a pair of shorts, a couple golf shirts and a some swim trunks at good deals. We all would have liked more time to shop but we had to get back to pick up RL at noon.
RL was happy to see both IR and CA in the car when we picked her up.
All three of the girls went to sleep on the way home but woke up as soon as we got home and we all had lunch.
After we ate we took the girls all outside to slide on the slide that hubbie fixed up at their play trailer yesterday.
They enjoyed the slide and love to play inside the playhouse too.

Even little CA seemed excited to have their very own play place.
They played for a long time out there until they got hungry and wanted to come in for a snack while hubbie went to pick up g-son.
After they ate they played on this little riding toy together.

D-in-love picked up RL and g-son and then daughter took IR and CA for a ride to get them to nap.
There was a man picking up the older hens I have for sale so hubbie and I helped him catch the hens and rooster that he bought.
After he left we got chores done and then had supper before relaxing for the evening.
To continue the decade pics for October 1999 when #1 son was playing his last high school football game. He was # 72.

This group of boys had played football together since they in the 5th grade so they were like family and this was a hard night for all of them.

Also during that month #2 son was asked to be one of the junior homecoming representative's escort.

Great memories of some very busy but enjoyable times.
Thankful for the blessing of traveling mercies today and for all the other blessings that were sent my way today.
God Bless and Good Night
