SLOW MARKET AGAIN AND 1981 CHRISTMAS MEMORIES

Wow 60 degrees at 8:00 this morning, I sure hope we don't pay for this nice weather later this winter!
Market was slow again today but I did pick up a couple more orders for next week. I crocheted tops on 5 towels between customers. I thought I was going to get sick earlier in the morning, I have no idea what happened but my stomach turned all of a sudden after I ate a ham biscuit from one of my market neighbors. Thankfully the sick feeling passed and I was fine by lunch time altough I still did not want any thing to eat.
After market I ran regular errands, had to stand in line at the post office to mail an Avon order for quite a while even at the machine in the lobby. They said it wasn't near as busy today as yesterday.I'm glad I wasn't here yesterday !!
I did daughter's shopping also as I made my supply stops as she is coaching basketball and has little time to get to any store but walmart after she gets finished and heads home at night.
I ran into d-in-love in the walmart parking lot, her and g-son were going in to get in the craziness inside.
I got home at 4:30, #1 son was here to bring daughter some apples to bake with and helped me unload the van.
I did evening chores early and hit the couch for a short rest before baking time began. I baked 32 layers and 2 wine cakes tonight.

Continuing with the December decade pictures tonight in 1981 we had our first real family Christmas as we had just become new parents of a bouncing baby boy.

Looks like he's way more interested in the lights on the tree than the toys that are surrounding him !

Here is hubbie holding #1 son with our then poodle named Jaque looking on.

And here I am at my mom's house with my precious one. At least I don't look so tired in this picture as I usually was because #1 son never slept through the night and after a nightly feeding refused to go back to sleep.

His first teddy bear was bigger than he was !!

Whew, how can it have been 30 years since this picture ????

I thank the Lord each day for allowing me this journey with my 3 children and now 1 grandchild. I feel so fortunate to have been blessed over the years so awesomely.
Good Night and God Bless.
