GROUND HOG SAYS MORE WINTER TO COME ON THIS SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

As I did the morning chores in just a light jacket with the sun shinning brightly on this Ground Hog day 2014 I thought there was no way that all the ground hogs around here would not see their shadows today.  Sure enough the Ground hogs say we will have six more weeks of winter.
This is Grady the ground hog who resides in Chimney Rock.
You can see his shadow as he has a snack.
Church was good today as we started studying in a new book of the Bible, Ruth, is our next project.
Everyone made it to lunch except #2 son who is golfing on this beautiful warm day.  The temp was in the mid 60's today as we so needed this day to get over the last week and get ready for the coming week.  We all spent the afternoon outside.
G-son and Evy dusted the rust of the swing.
There was a rousing game of baseball with a big plastic bat and whiffle ball everyone joined in on.
This is pawpaw taking his turn at pitching, with g-son batting  and d-in-love hind catching.
After the game g-son got out his wagon for some rides down the hill.
Oops that turn was a doozie !!!
Flash giving resuscitation to his friend !!!
Best friends !!!
Rest time at the horse barn.
With rain predicted for the beginning of the week and snow for the ending this may be the nicest day we have for awhile so we did our best to enjoy every minute of it.
Hubbie and I ended the day watching the Super Bowl football game which the Seattle Seahawks won buy a bunch, 43- 8  over the Denver Broncos.  I don't follow professional sports at all but with nothing else on TV and I do enjoy the extravagant commercials they put on during the game so we both watched the entire game.
Thanking God for the blessings of the day and for the family and friends He surrounds me with each day.
Good Night and God Bless.
