DECORATING SUNDAY

A chilly Sunday morning as we get out to get chores done and take the frosty covers off all the vegetables beds.  More rain is coming tonight so we will hang the covers out to dry then take them in before the rain gets here. We had roast beef in the crock pot and added corn on the cob, green beans, slaw, biscuits to the lunch with apple crisp for dessert.  Everyone made it to lunch except daughter, son-in-love and CA who went over to sit with Kristen as she still can't put any weight on her broken ankle.     Daughter dropped IR off here after they met for Sunday school at Re's and decorated ginger bread houses.

IR wanted to be here to help the other kids decorate my tree and they had a very good time getting all the ornaments on the tree.

They all worked hard and were proud of a job well done and I was just happy to have one of my least favorite jobs done.        I sure do love all these kids !!!!!

After they finished and had a couple treats they all went home.  Hubbie and I went outside to get the decorations here finished out there. We had some up but no cords to them so we got all that done on a decently warm afternoon before the colder temps get here overnight.

We got our chores done and came inside before the news came on.  The weather forecasters are all predicting some snow for our area . Depends on which one you believe as to how much we might get.

We watched a Christmas music show on TV tonight and had a nice relaxing evening.   #1 son also was busy getting his outside lights on his house this evening.    Very pretty !!!

Thankful for a wonderful family filled Sunday and prayerfully thankful for the Reason for Season , Jesus Christ .                                                                                                                                                  God Bless, Good Night and Merry Christmas
