HAY BALE MAZE DAY

Amen.....
Up to start another week on this cold Monday morning. The thermometer says 30 degrees at 7:10 this morning. We got the kids all fed and settled and I went out to get chores done. There is a very heavy frost covering everything this morning.

I took g-daughter RL to pre-school despite her "I'm so tired" protest.
I came back home to have my breakfast and then get the weekly laundry started. I worked on laundry on and off all morning while helping hubbie with IR. She is tired also but doesn't want to nap.
Finally just before I left to pick up RL she went to sleep. At least she'll get about an hour even if she wakes up when we get home.
RL had a good day but her teacher said she was asking to go home all morning which isn't normal for her. She has a really snotty nose so I'm sure she doesn't feel great today.
She went to sleep on the way home but woke up when hubbie got her out of the car.
We all had lunch together as IR also woke up when we all came inside. The girls both ate a good lunch and RL wanted to do something fun so we headed over to a neighbor's hay bale maze.
This is a great place during the day because there are no other kids here and the girls could play all alone as they received some instructions from Pawpaw.
We came here last here so RL thought she was the expert guide today and IR was content to follow her around. It was really cute to watch them play together.

They found some interesting things as they made their way through the maze.

At the end they found the big slide and slid down into a pool of corn.

RL loved this the best and slid over and over again laughing all the time and she asked if she could just sleep here tonight ????

They played in the corn pool and RL liked to stick her head through this poster but IR wanted to stay on the front side and look in.

They both like sitting on this giant pumpkin for sweet photos.

We got to check out all the outside decorations too.

After about an hour with their diapers full of hay and corn they were ready to come home and get in the bath tub to get the itchy stuff out of their clothes.
They were pooped and after a warm bath they both were content to have a snack and sit in the recliner with hubbie to watch cartoons while I finished the last load of laundry.
After their moms picked them up hubbie and I went outside to clean a shelf up that we are going to organize the play room with.
We did chores and then came inside to rest our tired backs.
This has been a blessing filled day and I am so thankful that we are able to spend time with these two little sweethearts and watch them grow up.
God Bless and Good Night
