RESTFUL SUNDAY

Today's prayer goes along with the sermon at church today which was about the courage and faith of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego when they were thrown into the firey furnace for not renouncing their faith in God. If we have enough faith we can live a life free from fear.
Had trouble getting to sleep last night, probably that big meal I ate at the wedding so it was good to get to sleep in this morning.
I got chores done, cleaned the kitchen and got ready for church .
After church we ate in shifts since all the girls wanted to go to the half price day at the children's sale.
The first shift to eat  roast beef, green beans, creamed corn, boiled potatoes, biscuits and sweet tea was #2 son and Tif, #1 son and g-son, RL and EL.
EL and RL played doctor while we got their food ready.
The second shift for lunch was daughter, IR, Re and BB. D-in-love stopped for fast food on the way back from the sale.
The girls compared their bargains and had a nice visit. After everyone left hubbie and I had a nice relaxing restful afternoon.
We watched the news of the "M" tropical storm that was named today, Michael which is going to  bring us some rain late in this week.
Predictions are for it to be a category 2 hurricane by the time it his the coast.
And it will push the high pressure out to sea that has been bringing us all the unseasonably high temps. So maybe if the forecasters are right we will finally have "Fall".
I almost miss the colorful sunset tonight as I went back out to shut the chicken house doors .
I am humbly thankfully for all the blessings of this day and for the love of our precious Savior.
God Bless and Good Night.

Nothing better than a sale. Your lunch sounds wonderful. Have a blessed day.
