I put mac and cheese in the crock pot along with the pot roast that hubbie had in another crock pot and we headed to church.
Today was the Christmas musicals from all age groups and it was a really good service.
D-in-love works with the youngest group of kids and they did a great job this morning singing out when it came their turn.
We had a couple make up things to do today since the snow closed church last Sunday but we were still home by 12:30 to finish getting the corn ,biscuits and green beans cooked for lunch.
#1 son's family, #2 son and daughter and son-in-love were all here today. RL was very tired and wanting to take her nap so d-in-love took her home early.
The guys went up to the barn and unloaded the big dog house out of the trailer and got it set up.
Hubbie and I went to #2 son's apartment so I could see it today and it is very nice and very roomy.
And it's proximity to his work is great.
Hubbie and I watched the UNC / Tennessee basketball game this afternoon which UNC won in the final minutes.
We did chores and a few raindrops were falling already as we get ready for several nasty rainy days according to the weather people.
We moved the garden chicken tractor to a new spot and it was funny to see the hens come off their roost to get a nibble of the fresh green grass before hopping back up on them for the night.
Watching Christmas shows on TV tonight and still fighting that shaky feeling that showed back up this evening with severe chills which I suspect is a low grade fever. Hopefully a good overnight sleep will help fend off whatever is wrong.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the love of my Savior Jesus Christ as we get ready to celebrate His birth.
