NO NAPS MAKE FOR TRYING AFTERNOON

Up to greet the grand daughters just after 7am today. It is a cloudy, warm, muggy morning today as I did the chores and took RL to school a light mist began falling.
I came home and had my breakfast then started baking cakes. I need to get a start on tomorrow's baking. I baked 6 caramel, 1 pound and 1 blackberry wine cake before it was time to leave to pick up RL.
Hubbie and IR rode along with me as we needed to stop by the vet's office.
When we got home both girls were sleeping soundly and we got them carried in and settled down so we could have a nice quiet lunch.
Ha !!  Not to be before we got even a bite of lunch IR woke up screaming and of course that woke RL up.
Sooooo  , we all had lunch then with both girls definitely missing that nap we had our hands full of fussy , wanting to be held girls all afternoon.

They are so fun to watch some days with the connections they have and the kiss on the head wasn't prompted she just loves her little cousin.

I bought three Advent calendars for the kids and they look forward each afternoon when g-son gets in from school to open the next days window and eat the little chocolate emblem out of it.
Daughter had a meeting after school so she was late getting here and she and hubbie were trying to figure out a storage idea for her furniture since the place she is renting is too small for all of it.
#2 son came by to pick up the pool key to the development he owns a lot in because he sold that lot yesterday. This is going to be an interesting telling of how decent the Beverly Hanks realty center here in town is. Over 6 months ago #2 son listed this lot with them. They have never done anything put stick a sign up on the lot, it isn't even showing up on the MLS site now . He is an honest man and called that realtor to tell her a friend of his had bought the lot, all the paperwork was already done and the sale was over. She said she would talk to her boss to see if they would demand the 10 % realtor fee or not since they didn't have anything to do with the sale. We'll see what happens !
He didn't make a deal on the house he was looking at in Etowah so he is going to rent an apartment to live in until he either finds some land and builds a  house or finds another house to buy.
This is a crazy time for our family right now with all the selling and moving going on.
We did chores a little early so we could beat the rain.  And sure enough just as darkness fell the rain started falling. We really need some rain so any amount will be nice and an overnight rain is always really good at soaking in.
I spent the evening finishing my baking, I baked 2 chocolate cakes and 1 pan of brownies.
I decorated in the kitchen tonight getting the kitchen tree filled with all the utensils and getting my newly gifted, thanks Kristen, Christmas dishes out so we can use them this month.

I love this season and I am almost totally finished decorating so all I have to do now is sit back and enjoy the season with the grands.
Thankful tonight for the wonderful blessed day and praying that God implement His will in the house searches for both daughter and #2 son.
God Bless and Good Night
