APPLE FESTIVAL SUNDAY

Slept in a little this morning on a slow Sunday morning. I got chores done and then had breakfast before getting ready for church. We are having a spaghetti lunch so there was no preparation needed before we left for church.
Our associate pastor William gave the sermon today and continued talking about giving.
We came home to fix spaghetti for #1 son's family and #2 son only today. Tif is working , daughter's family are driving to SC to look at a puppy, Aa's family went to the rodeo today in Georgia.
Everyone left soon after we ate and hubbie and I had only a few minutes to relax before getting chores done early and doing the animal feeding at Aa's house this afternoon for them.
The Curb Market charges for parking during the Apple festival and we take volunteers to sign up for 2 hour increments all weekend. Hubbie and I signed up for the 5-8 shift tonight and daughter and son-in-love have the 3-5 shift right before us.
They bought a puppy from the family in Pelzer ,SC that was selling these beautiful Labradoodles .

Luna ,probably the name they have chosen unless they change their minds is going to be one lucky dog with these three as her new family.
When hubbie and I got to the market there were several market vendors there to help so we all had a nice time just talking and visiting . There wasn't as many cars coming in to park as last year this evening but the lot has been pretty full all weekend so far.
We all closed the lot down about 7:30. Daughter and IR came back into town to walk up on the street with hubbie and I just to check out the festival.

I like it this time of day because the street isn't filled with people and you can at least see the items for sale in the booths.
We walked up one side and back down the other stopping at a couple of our favorite booths but didn't make any major purchases except some Christmas ornaments that I bought for gifts.
Of course we sampled the do-nuts, kettle corn and caramel apples on our walk. G-daughter IR loved all the sights and sounds of the busy street.

We talked to several friends on the street and then headed back to the cars in the market parking lot.
Good bye to the annual apple festival for another year !!
We made it home at about 8:30 and relaxed for the evening.
Thankful to God for the wonderful blessed day He gave us.
God Bless and Good Night
