We got up and got chores done in the sunshine and then got ready for church. We had a roast beef in the crock pot and corn on the cob on the stove and I made scalloped potatoes and left them in the oven to keep warm while we were in church.
We went inside church and sat down and d-in-love came back and sat down with us and showed us some pictures of g-son's sores he has on his elbows, knees and feet. They looked really bad and I said he needs to go to urgent care instead of waiting until tomorrow to get an appointment with the dermatologist and she agreed so we left church to go pick up RL from #1 son so he could take g-son on the urgent care. D-in-love stayed at church to play music.
RL played with a new magnetic dress up doll I got her for her birthday and then wanted to go outside and swing.
Rain started falling again and ran us inside.
Re and the kids joined us as well as #1 son for lunch with all the kids. G-son has impetigo on his skin and was put on antibiotics and told to keep the sores covered at school and in soccer games.
After everyone left hubbie and I cleaned up and I wrapped RL's present to take to her party at 4:00.
She liked the little castle I found for her.
She got lots of new toys for everyone to play with today.
RL and CO played with the castle for a long time together.
The minion cake was a big hit and tasted delicious.
D-in-love also fixed her taco soup and chips which everyone loved.
All the kids had a great time playing together and the adults had a nice visit.
There was a Minion piñata and all the kids starting with IR, 14 months took swings at it.( Silas is actually the youngest of the bunch but at only 5 months he sat out the piñata swatting)
RL...….3yrs
BB.....3yrs
Silas...…4yrs , actually today was his birthday but he celebrated last weekend.
CO...…4 yrs , Tuesday is her 5th birthday.

And then g-son, 11 yrs, was called in to take the last swings and scatter the candy and toys.
It was a great party and a lot of smiling faces !!
G-son felt kind of shaky from the new medicine but he did feel like having a picture made with his look and act alike uncle D.
Hubbie and I rode up to check out the progress at daughter's homesite before we came home.
The footings are poured and they are supposed to lay block for the foundation this next week.
We got chores done a little late and then had to chase Rocky the dog down to put him up for some reason tonight he didn't want to go in his pen.
The news isn't good about the hurricane as forecasters having it coming into the east coast as a cat. 4 hurricane which will be very destructive wherever it hits and could bring us major flooding as far inland as our mountains.
Thankful for a wonderful day filled with many blessings and for a quick not so terrible diagnosis for g-son. I pray for a speedy recovery for him.
God Bless and Good Night.
