GOOD MARKET DAY

Felt good to get an extra hour of sleep this morning. I got chores done while hubbie loaded the Honda. We made it to market right on time but there weren't many customers there to notice.
Daughter came in right after us and then son-in-love brought IR breakfast and fed her. He and hubbie then took IR on a walk in the stroller hoping she would take her morning nap but no dice.
When they came back son-in-love went home and after a little while IR did go to sleep so hubbie left daughter and I there to take care of her and sales.
Sales picked up and we were very thankful for another good selling day. This time of year these good days are numbered .
When IR woke up about 1:00 daughter took her home.
I left market at 2:00 closing time and made one stop at Ingles for tomorrow's lunch supplies. We are having beef stew so I bought a couple roast that were on sale to cut up into stew meat, $2.98 beats $5.28 per pound any day !!
I came home and hubbie was taking a break between mowing and weed eating and helped me get unloaded and get things put away. A customer came to pick up a cake and then we had a snack before he went back to his lawn work and I rested after another long hot market day.
After a rest I got out to get the chores done.  We moved the chicken tractor that is in the end of the garden and I raked and planted this area with the rest of the mustard seed that I planted in the area on the right a week ago. It has really came up well with all the warm sunshine and rain we have had.
D-in-love and Re took all the kids to a local orchard to pick apples today and it looks like they all had a great time.

G-son has a period of band this year and choose the Saxophone for his instrument . We call him the "soul man" !!
As we watched the weather and news tonight there is a really cruel possibility gaining probability as the remains of Florence now have a 40% chance of forming another tropical system and heading right back into the still flooded areas of coastal North and South Carolina.
The tropics are getting busy again as the "k" storm, Kirk was named today and predicted to head into the Caribbean .
Tonight at 9:54 we will bid adieu to a great 2018 summer and get ready for this year's Fall season.
This years summer will always be special in my memory with some new adventures for hubbie and I as we made a fun trip to Montana and some time spent with some special people that soon will be relocating.
This year the "corn moon" is almost full on the Autumn Equinox.

Hubbie and I spent a restful evening tonight . Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
