RAINY FRIDAY

Clouds greeted me as I did the morning chores today. After refilling all the bird feeders and having breakfast I headed to work at church.
Made an Avon delivery to a lady after I finished my work and then came home around 12:30 to have lunch. We are finally getting some long awaited fresh tomatoes from the garden so I had a BLT for lunch, yum yum. I wish there was a way to preserve the fresh flavor of fresh tomatoes over the winter.
G-son arrived just after I got here, #1 son has to go to the dentist. Daughter has been here baking all morning and left to go back to her dog sitting job.
G-son and I spent the afternoon inside as the rain came and went all afternoon. He built a fort in the living room to stay under out of the rain.
I worked on my next blog book. I am working on the first 6 months of 2010 now.I haven't had much free time to work on it but it is coming along as I learned a few things from the last one.

One time I would look out and the sun would be shinning, next time it would be raining. It has been that kind of day all day. Forgot to check the rain gauge tonight to see how much rain we got but will tomorrow.
After g-son left Hubbie and went back to finish work at church. I met another Avon customer on the way with her order.
This evening we got our heaviest rain of the day for about an hour. Thankfully we dodged the thunder and lightening that I heard in the distance.
I iced caramel, chocolate and coconut cakes tonight.
The white Silkie has 3 babies so far this evening.
Speaking of babies, I'll bet these guys mother had some anxious moments looking up at these 3.
Saw this picture on the local media site and just had to share it !!!!

Grateful for the blessings of today.
Good Night and God Bless.

So glad you are getting rain! We are still dry here. Mom would say, we need to pay the preacher.

We really are having weather extremes, aren't we? Sunny one minute and thunderstorm the next. I love the tent.
