ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL PARK PLAY DAY

Woke feeling normal this morning thankfully. The girls were both here and having breakfast when I went out to get the morning chores done.
I had breakfast then we played inside for most of the cloudy morning.
The girls played well together.
When IR went down for a short nap hubbie took RL outside and I did some ironing and got the minutes from the market board meeting re-wrote ready for copying.
When IR woke up we had an early lunch with RL begging to go to the park again. We went to a closer park , Shuey Knols in Edneyville, and she was the only child there so she had a good time running from slide to slide. Look at that beautiful blue sky !!!

We explored some of the walking trails in this park but not many because the ground was uneven and it was hard to push a stroller full of girls !!!

It was a shorter trip today because RL got tired quicker today and was ready for her nap.
Both girls were asleep before we went very far down the road toward home.
Hubbie got them carried in and they both took very good naps.
Hubbie worked outside and I stayed inside doing some paperwork while they slept.
Even days after all the rain we had a major ground shift from the saturation of the rain water happen overnight last night and caused a major landslide on highway #9 southeast of us. They are still assessing the slide which brought tons of mud and about 60 trees into the roadway. This slide put more folks on alert that live in slide areas because as all the water sinks further into the ground it could cause more slides in other areas. This is going to take months to repair and certainly is going to create major headaches for folks who live around it who have to make a 50 mile detour.
After the girls were picked up hubbie and I caught up on some garden work and did chores.
I am headed to bed early again tonight to try and stay on my early wake up schedule.
Thankful for the blessings of this day .
God Bless and Good Night
