I got chores done and had a nice breakfast before daughter and son-in-love arrived to go with hubbie over to a friends house to dig up some plants he was giving them.
The temperature this morning is 42 degrees and the wind is still really blowing so it is pretty chilly outside today. I decided to keep IR here with me out of the chilly wind as she still has a runny nose and cough.
This is laundry day for me so IR was a good little helper this morning who played with some of her dishes on the washer while I worked.
Hubbie, daughter and son-in-love came in at lunch time with a truck load of plants. We all had lunch together of yesterday's left overs before the three of them went over to daughters to plant the plants and then put in post for the privacy section of fencing they are putting up.
IR and I went back downstairs to our laundry duties. She was so good to play while I worked and then we played out in the sunroom and had a snack while the last load finished.
Then we went over to see how the plants looked and check on the fence progress.
Daughter had taken hubbie's truck and went after more post and hubbie and son-in-love were putting in post so IR and I played on the new deck. She is going to love this big deck.
She also already loves her sandbox even if she doesn't have sand in it yet.
Daughter came back with the last 4 post and they got them set and then we all decided it would be a good night to have dinner out at Cracker Barrel . So we came home to get ready while they got ready and they came over and we headed out to eat.
I had my regular spicy grilled catfish and as usual it was very good. We all ate our fill and IR was very good while we ate and she also ate good after all her activity today with no nap.
We came home and got chores done a little late but made it inside just before dark.
#1 son's family made it back from their trip to Tennessee today after a fun weekend.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
