BUSY BEAUTIFUL MONDAY

Monday morning comes around too often these days. All 4 grand kids were here early this morning. Hubbie took g-son to school and then I did chores when he got home.                                                            All the girls and I had breakfast and then hubbie took IR and CA back to daughter's house to meet up with there other g-ma, Connie for the day. RL cried because they left and she had no one to play with.      We went out to the laundramat and dropped off all the furniture covers and bed comforter in washers and went to pick up lunch for RL.  We came back and picked up our laundry and came home to hang it out on the clothes line . It was a perfect day for drying anything on the line today with a breezy warm, sunny day.

I did weekly laundry and cleaned house while RL went outside to help hubbie cut the remainder of the dead mimosa tree down. There is a black walnut tree right beside it and RL picked up this 5 gallon bucket full of walnuts and informed me she wanted a cake made from them.
We sat out in the covered patio and had popsicles to rest and then she needed a TV break inside until her mom got here.                                                                                                                                          After RL left hubbie and I got chores done and then I gathered all the laundry off the clothesline and put it away.  As I walked by this pretty Sedum mixed in with this purple wandering Jew plant I had to get a picture of this perfect pair.
We are going to be reminded in the coming days that this year's hurricane season is far from over as Delta takes aim at the gulf coast and then continues into our area.

Hubbie and I went to pick up our Walmart curbside order tonight only to be disappointed that almost half of it was out of stock. Lesson learned -- don't order on Mondays -- evidently they have not restocked from the weekend when regular items like plain flour are out of stock.                                       We came home and relaxed for the evening.                                                                                                 Thankful for the blessings of this day.                                                                                                          God Bless and Good Night
