T. G. I .F.

All three girls were here to wake me this morning with their talking and laughing as they played together.   The sunrise this morning was a tribute to the old saying that if there is a red sky in the morning sailors  should take warning.

I got chores done and we all had breakfast together.  The girls wanted to go outside this morning since it is still pretty warm but the clouds are taking over quickly.  There is some color starting to show up in the leaves and the soybean field across the creek is sure pretty in it's golden glory.
This plant's pot was my place to stick all the wandering Jew sprigs that fell off my hanging pots and looks like this was a perfect spot that they loved and all rooted and have made this a really pretty area but now I need to figure out a way to contain them.

We had a cake delivery to make for daughter just before lunchtime so we picked up lunches while we were out and came home to eat.                                                                                                                      After lunch we went back outside until I had to make another delivery of eggs and a cake.  I filled up with gas while I was out and then came home to meet daughter to go over to to Re's house and pick up some fresh beef she just brought in this morning from a beef they had slaughtered a couple weeks ago. It is very hard to get an appointment anywhere these days to have any animal slaughtered so this is the last appointment they have to get any of their bee processed so we appreciate being first on the list to go pick out some fresh beef.                                                                                                                               We came home and daughter took the girls home. Hubbie and I got our beef in the freezer and then we watched the early news. Hurricane Delta came ashore as a cat 2 storm.

Our area is expected to get a pretty good drenching of 2-3 inches of rain from this system.

We got chores done and a light shower of rain has already reached out area this evening. We moved both the chicken tractors out of the way of falling power lines.                                                                     We relaxed for the evening and got an early bedtime listening to light rain already falling and the temperature getting cooler.                                                                                                                            Thankful for the blessings of this day.                                                                                                          God Bless and Good Night
