ERRAND DAY AND GETTING READY FOR HURRICANE ZETA

Woke from a good night's sleep feeling much better than yesterday. At least me nose isn't dripping today. We greeted all 3 of the girls this morning.  I got chores done and then we all had breakfast before we loaded up in hubbie's truck and headed out to get our weekly errands done. We made stops at the PO, dump/ recycle center, Sav Mor, and the library to pick up a book for hubbie at their curb side service. We picked up lunches on the way home and ate lunch when we got home.                                    After we ate I baked 6 caramel cakes while the girls played and then daughter who also has a head cold got off work since they don't have any students this afternoon and picked all the girls up to play at her house for a while. They were excited for a different place to play.                                                              Hubbie and I spent the afternoon resting and hubbie took a nap since he didn't sleep well last night.       It has rained all day off and on so it was a good day to get some relaxing rest in.                                      We got evening chores done and moved the chicken tractors again out of harms way hopefully if the high winds they are predicting knock some trees down on our power lines. Zeta made landfall this evening and is headed our way so we will see what tomorrow brings. We hardly ever see tropical storm watches this far inland but we are under it for tomorrow because this storm is moving so fast it will retain a lot of it's wind speed so we are expecting up to 50 mph winds which will be damaging. Schools are closed tomorrow because of the incoming storm.

I got my cakes iced and then we got another early bedtime night to try and get an upper hand on these colds we have.                                                                                                                                                Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying that the storm won't be as bad as expected and God will keep His protective arms around all of us.                                                                                              God Bless and Good Night
