Up to greet only IR and CA again this morning because RL has a dentist appointment early this morning. Another nice morning to get out and get chores done earlier than usual because hubbie has a 9am doctor's appointment with the dermatologist to have his annual skin check and to give the melanoma spot that they took off last winter a recheck. He was had several spots froze off but they found nothing that needed to cut and sent off for diagnosis so that was good. He came home and we had a power outage for a few minutes. Daughter called from school and said they had been evacuated and all the fire trucks were rolling in. Later they discovered the power surge caused all the fire alarms to go off. Thankfully it only stayed off for a short time and when it came back on I decided I would go ahead and get my cakes baked this morning while we waited on RL to finish at the dentist. When she came in d-in-love said they found several cavities and bad teeth and wanted to cap all her front teeth. Since she is five years old and will start loosing these teeth in a year or two I don't think they will be doing that but she has some back molars that will need to be fixed. We all got in hubbie's truck and headed out to get the weekly errands done. We stopped at the P.O. , the dump ;/recycle center, Sav Mor and the Curb Market to pick up some business I need to take care of. We also picked up lunches on the way home. CA napped the whole time which was good for her. We all had lunch together when we got home and then we headed outside to play for the afternoon. We did some more bike riding lessons taking turns on the bike.
We came back inside to rest and have a snack before daughter got here to pick IR and CA up. These 2 can be so sweet to one another but also fight like sisters already.
RL stayed here while g-son had his turn at the dentist to have his braces adjusted. #1 son picked her up when he got off work. Hubbie and I went out to get chores done and then we planted the broccoli plants we bought yesterday.
We planted them close to the ones we already had so we can cover them later this winter. We love broccoli and hope to have fresh long into the cold months. After that we went back to dig more potatoes and dug another one and half rows and now have some really nice sized baking potatoes that we have been lacking in the last couple years harvest. We also moved both chicken tractors and were both ready for rest and bad time when we finally got inside. Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the blessing of good food from our garden that God provides for us. God Bless and Good Night
