RAINY SUNDAY

 Up to a rainy Sunday morning. I got chores done and then had a late breakfast bar and coffee since we are fixing lunch today. We had cooked a roast beef in the crockpot overnight and added boiled potatoes, corn on the cob, glazed carrots, biscuits and apple crisp to it for lunch.                                                       Before they came for lunch Re held a Sunday school lesson for all the kids at her house and they got to make bird houses which thrilled IR for sure.                                                                                                     

Everyone made it to lunch today even #2 son and Tif who just got back from a trip to Utah.                      Everyone had a nice visit and then went on their way leaving hubbie and I to relax on a rainy Sunday afternoon.   As cold weather gets closer all the wild animals are getting braver and coming closer in as these wild turkeys filled our bottom pastures today looking for food to put more fat on before the colder temps begin.                                                                                                                                                       

Hubbie and I used the inside time to rest up for the coming week and I caught up on putting laundry away.                                                                                                                                                              A light rain was still falling at chore time and I emptied another 1.5 inches from the gauge from Delta this evening and it is still raining this evening.                                                                                              After  a snack supper as we were both were still pretty full from the big lunch we watched TV and relaxed for the evening.  #1 son's family picked up pumpkins today and spent the evening carving jack o lanterns .
