LAST CANNING OF THE YEAR (I think)

IR and CA were here early this morning and we watched cartoons while hubbie went to take g-son to school.  When he came back I went out and got chores done. It is cloudy this morning but it looks like the sun is going to win the battle.  I came inside and we all had breakfast together.   After we ate we all loaded up to go make a cake delivery and then pick up our curbside Sam's Club order. We came home and put the groceries away and then went back out to pick up lunches and stop by a local produce stand to get some muscadine grapes. We have been checking our vines but have found no fruit ,thinking probably that late freeze killed all ours. We are on the very northern border that these grapes will produce and we only get fruit once every several years.  The girls were both napping in the car so we stopped for gas then lunches before we made it back home a little before noon.                                         The girls woke up and we all had lunch together and then we had an inside play day today since CA has a runny nose and doesn't act like she feels great.   After daughter picked them up hubbie and I watched the early news . We have another hurricane in the Atlantic but thankfully it will turn north before it gets to the US.

Hubbie had to go over to the elementary school and help d-in-love change a flat tire when she got off work. She picked up a screw in her tire somewhere and it was totally flat.                                                  We got chores done and then I did some walking. Had to cut down on my length today as my knee is really sore.  A beautiful clear sky tonight shows the moon and the planet Jupiter visible above and to the right of and the planet Saturn less visible above and to the left of it.
I came inside and cut up all the hot and mild peppers that I gathered before the predicted frost last weekend and put them in a couple quart jars. I boiled vinegar, water and salt and poured it over them to create more pickled peppers that we enjoy.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
