NEW DOCTOR APPOINTMENT DAY

G-son was here early today and  searching for a "p" item for school. He found a "pink pig" and put it in his lunchbox and was ready to go, happy as a lark. I hope he is this happy to go to school next year when it is the real thing.
While Hubbie took him I did chores and ate breakfast and got ready to go to an appointment to meet a new doctor.
Hubbie and I decided to start going to the same doctor #1 son's family goes to as he is in Asheville where we can go to Mission hospital.
My appointment was at 11:00, I had to be there at 10:30 to fill out paperwork. They came to call me back before I had all the paperwork done as I was the only one in the office that I saw anyway.
I saw the nurse practicioner this morning and was very impressed so far at how thorough she was. I made an appointment for a full physical later this month and I go in a week earlier to have blood drawn so we can talk about my blood work during my physical, which I really like.I usually had to call my old doctors office to get the results and all they would say was that everything was within normal limits.
She flushed my ears this morning and agreed with what a doctor had told me 25 years ago that I had very small ear canals and they are tilted the wrong way so wax has a hard time working out so it hardens and I need it flushed from time to time so the doc can see my eardrums and I can hear better.
I made it home at lunch time. Hubbie and g-son stopped at Sam's Club for their lunch.
This afternoon with the weather  cooler, 48, and cloudy  I decided to stay inside while hubbie and g-son moved some wood into a shed.

I worked on my picture project. When I finished tonight I was all the way through 2007, yeah !!!
#1 son worked a little late and hubbie and I took turns doing chores so g-son wouldn't be back outside in the cool evening air.
After his dad picked him up hubbie and I ate a light supper and got back to our exercising routine tonight.
My cold is much better today , no runny nose and I am feeling almost normal, thankfully.
I am thanking God for the blessings of today and praying for His blessings on my family tonight.
Good Night and God Bless.

Sounds like you all are smart to get a new doctor --associated with the Mission Hospital. We had to get a new doctor in January --since ours moved to Knoxville. We've seen the new doctor only once --but neither of us liked him as much as our old one... Our old one was GREAT... Don't know if we'll ever find one we like any better. Oh Well...

Hugs,
Betsy
