SICKLY SATURDAY

UHHHH!!!!!  Woke this morning feeling worse than I have all week with this cold or now I'm wondering if it is more than just a cold ??
But life must go on so I drug myself through chores and then got ready for market amid sneezing fits.
#1 son went to help with the church wood ministry so he brought g-son over to go with us to market.
He doesn't act like he feels very good either so this is shaping up to be an interesting morning.
The wood ministry at church is a very helpful thing so we are glad that son is involved . Living in a rural area we still have many elderly folks in and around our church who rely on wood for heat in winter time.
The men of our church decided some years ago that they would form a group to help supply those folks who could not afford to buy the wood. Many folks also have trees fall or die on their property and need to have them removed so this ministry is double edged. The group which both my son and hubbie are members of have been trying for several Saturdays to get this done and it has rained. So even though it is a bit rainy today they went ahead with it as they have folks in desperate need and the Lord provided as He held the heavy rains off until they were finished.

Back at market we got set up and g-son was playing his favorite game on my laptop and all looked to be going well until he lost the race on the game and started to cry. Now when you cry because you lose a video game it is time to do something else for sure !! So hubbie took him home.
Even feeling yucky all morning I had a decent sales day, the best one this year. Selling pillows and several other crafts as well as cakes.
However one of my neighbors across the aisle decided today would be her cleaning day and as she dusted I began to sneeze more and finally I packed it up and left about 30 minutes early. With my nose feeling like a hot poker was stuck up in it I came straight home, unloaded and hit the couch.
G-son was still here with his blanket fort built in the living room but daddy came shortly to pick him up to go to a birthday party of one of his little friends.
I stayed on the couch all evening feeling very yucky all around. I didn't even feel like blogging last night so this is back dated from Sunday morning.
Hard rains arrived just after dark tonight and we are hoping they end before they cause a flood as our cattle are still in the bottom pasture.
After a good long hot bath I lay in bed and listened to the coyotes howl in the bottoms as I dozed off to a hopefully healing sleep.
God is good all the time and on days like today He still blesses me beyond measure and I'm very thankful.
