SUPER BOWL SUNDAY SPENT RELAXING AND ENJOYING FAMILY

Didn't make it to church this morning, although I don't feel that bad my eyes are watery and my nose is an open faucet this morning so I'm spending the  morning alone. Caught up on my blog from yesterday and relaxed.
Everyone made it for lunch plus daughter's new boyfriend. Hopefully I didn't offend him by asking some questions about being Jewish.
#2 son was the first to leave heading to the grocery store to pick up a boston butt to put in his friends smoker for their super bowl party tonight. Then daughter and boyfriend left and took Tipper her dog home who had been staying with us for the last week while she had a dog sitting job in Asheville.
#1 son ,d-in-love and g-son stayed and talked for a while before heading home. Hubbie had a Deacon meeting at church this afternoon.
I was left alone again and spent this afternoon working on my photo organization. I made it all the way up to the end of 2005, now I have to get prints of photos from the computer.
This has been a lovely day as you can see by this almanac page for today.

There was about an 1/2 inch of rain in the rain gauge this morning after some hard rain periods overnight.
The next 7 days are going to be a little cooler but still not feeling much like February should.

How about that super bowl game tonight I watched parts of it as I did my pictures and loved the fact that the Giants won just because of the way the Patriots QB Tom Brady acted during the play-offs, especially when he beat Tim Tebow's team and then the fact that Brady's wife came out asking everyone to pray for her husband as if mocking Tebow's faith.
Well I'm heading to bed tonight feeling much better thankfully than I did last night.
Grateful tonight for the blessings of this of this day and for my family.
Good night and God Bless.

Glad you are feeling better, Marilyn. We enjoyed the Super Bowl --and I was glad that the Giants won. I love Eli and Peyton Manning. Nice young men!!!!

Get some rest and continue to get well.

So pleased you are feeling better.

Didn't watch the super bowl so I guess that makes me a rare bird.

Have a blessed day and continue to heal.
