ANOTHER FUN DAY MONDAY

Another week off to an early start with the arrival of g-son and RL before 7am.
I got chores done and then had breakfast.
Offered the same three choices of last Monday, swimming pool, park or Carl Sandburgs this week g-son's choice was park. He said he was tired of swimming for a while.
So we got ready and stopped by McDonalds and took lunch with us in our heated cooler.
Daughter had been blackberry picking earlier and had to stop and rearrange the placement of the berries because of this little berry thief in the back seat who woke up and thought she had found a smorgasbord in the seat next to her.

They met us at the park and had fun sliding and playing until lunch time.

We ate under the picnic shelter and RL chased a chipmunk  around outside this fence.

 We went down to the pond to look for "Nemo" but no luck seeing him today.

 These two love each other so much !!!

From there we went into town to Sweet Frog for a cold treat which all the kids enjoyed.

RL had to give the bear on the street in front of the store a hug and g-son....., well he was just being all boy !!!

We got in the Honda and RL was asleep before we got very far. We came home and hubbie carried her inside and she napped on the couch. G-son swung outside then came inside and quietly played a game on his I-pad.

Daughter took IR and went to another basketball open gym at the high school. IR gets her exercise in while the girls do drills.

As soon as we got them settled I got the weekly laundry started. I did 3 loads of laundry done while intermittently taking care of their needs. RL woke up early from her nap and was in rare form for the afternoon. Hubbie took her outside and let her run until it started to thunder as a storm headed our way.

Back inside she was hard to satisfy with anything.

Her mom picked her up at 5:15 and the rain had just started as she left for home.

We watched the news while it rained then got chores done in a light sprinkle. We already got 1/2 inch by the time I finished chores and checked the gauge on the way inside.

It has rained off and on lightly all evening so I'll see what we get overnight to add to the 1/2 inch.

We relaxed for the evening.
