SPRING OLD TIMEY DAY AT MARKET

Extra , extra  early wake up call this morning as hubbie left at 5:45 to get to market to help get the wood cook stoves going.
It was still too dark for me to do chores but I was afraid to stay in bed and go back to sleep so I got up and started getting ready for market. This is my "Old Timey outfit" for the day.
Wonder what the chickens thought of my outfit at chore time ????
There is not many mornings this time of year that I am up to see the sunrise through the trees.
I made it to market about 7:45 and a friend helped me unload my baked goods while hubbie was still cooking  the sausage. Thanks Buckner !!
I got things set up and then made some pics of the activities.

Some old tractors and cars added to the theme for the day.

Hubbie gives the younger generation wood cook stove lessons !!
The band played some really good music and the 4-H brought a petting zoo to add to the day.
Me and my "mini" old timey bonnet wearer !!!
One of the vendors that has a printing business made these t-shirts for us and they looked really good.
Son-in-love just came after IR so he didn't get a shirt !!
IR didn't know what to think of all the animals.

#1 son's family came out after lunch and RL fell in love with the baby ducks.
She got her face painted and acted like she felt a lot better today.
It was a really fun day for everyone but a slow selling day for me. The crowds we usually had weren't there today.
We had not had the Old Timey Day in a couple years and I thing it will take a couple times to get word out that we are having it again and get the crowds back.
Hubbie, daughter and I helped take down and clean up then left about 45 minutes late.
Hubbie and I came home, unloaded and took naps, haha !!!!   These early morning are rough !!!
We woke up in time to watch the news of more predicted rain for tomorrow . We got chores done and then got the green bean trellises up  in hopes of a bean crop .
I caught up my blog tonight then headed for an early bedtime as I still feel very sleep deprived.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the helpful community that surrounds me.
God Bless and Good Night

I’m impressed, I have to say. Actually not often do I encounter a weblog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you might have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the problem is something that not enough individuals are talking intelligently about. I'm very completely happy that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for something relating to this. mgm online casino
