BAD NEWS MONDAY

Up to greet RL at 7:00 this morning. G-son has a annual physical appointment this morning so d-in-love is taking him there before he comes here.
I got chores done and then came in for breakfast. Daughter dropped IR and CA of at 8:30 on her way to take her dog to the vet for a check up.
CA was in a pretty good mood but slept most of the time daughter was gone.
RL and IR were glad to be back together again and followed me around while I got the weekly laundry started and played on the stairs.

Daughter came back after taking the dog home and fed CA while we all had lunch of left overs.CA has a pediatric appointment at 1:00 so daughter and I took her and left the other 3 kids with hubbie.
We had a huge let down at the doctor as CA hasn't gained but about 3 ounces in the last week even with the feeding tube.
The doctor debated on giving her the first set of shots but decided it would be better since she was having surgery that she go ahead and have them now. Poor CA has no meat at all on her legs and it really hurt her when they gave the shots.  The nurse who gave them cried with CA.
Thankfully it didn't take daughter long to calm her down and dry all the tears.
We left there and stopped at Ingles for Tylenol in case she needs it for the pain in her little legs.
Daughter took both her girls home for naps before Bible School tonight and hubbie held RL down and made her take a nap also.
While they napped I changed out some monthly decorations. Taking down the red ,white and blue for July and putting out the golden sunflowers for August.
I also needed a shelf in the sunroom to store some small appliances in and when RL woke up hubbie and g-son carried one of the extra shelves in the storage shed in for me.
It is certainly nice to have g-son around for extra help.
D-in-love brought clean clothes for RL and changed her here then they all headed straight to the second day of VBS.
Just after they left a storm blew up and dropped 9/10ths inch of rain here but thankfully no hail or wind and not much thunder and lightening.
The storm left this rainbow that ran up into the clouds.
And a nice orange glow all around.
As I walked up the driveway this evening I noticed the first signs of Fall around here as these Lumbardy Poplar trees always drop their leaves in late summer and cover this part of the drive.
VBS made some adjustments for the rain this evening but looks like everyone had a good time once again. Daughter called and said she had left IR alone in her classroom and she was doing fine.

G-son, in the purple shirt giving the V fingers behind the head of one of the leaders, and his youth group packed the food boxes for the families of school kids we feed each week as one of their activities tonight.

EL , bottom right looks happy tonight.

I caught my blog up tonight from vacation days and then went to bed early as I am tired tonight both emotionally and physically.
Praying for CA tonight that God wrap His protective arms around her frail little body and carry her through this eminent surgery coming up.
God Bless and Good Night

Praying that CA gains some weight and that she is okay.
