EMOTIONAL SUNDAY

Up this morning and getting chores done and then putting loin chops in the instant pot to cook while we are in church along with the baked potatoes in the oven.
Church was very emotional this morning for our family as our church family prayed for little CA's surgery as they all gathered around us. Craig our pastor cried his way through a touching prayer that didn't leave a dry eye in the house.

We all came here for lunch after church and had green beans, corn, cucumber salad, biscuits and sweet tea with the chops and potatoes.  We all had a nice visit and then daughter and I took the girls and #1 son's followed us over to our friends apple house to pick some flowers to lighten our moods and cool off with apple slushies. We also got some Honeycrisp apple that are my favorite apple to eat.

We left there and came home. Daughter dropped me off and hubbie and I relaxed for a while. Daughter went home to let her in-laws who were traveling back from Tennessee visit with the girls then she came back and picked me up to go with her and the girls to get some things she had bought from a friend off facebook.
We had a nice visit with Steve and Lynn and then came home.
I bought this big metal rooster just because I thought it was a good match for my décor but have no idea where I will put him yet.
Our church had our annual "creek" baptism today and there were over 25 people who were going to Baptized from young to old all these folks dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ today, all the glory to God.

There were many folks who came out to support the Baptism and of course there was a huge cook out with plenty of food.

After the service the kids were turned loose in the creek to play. This is g-son, RL and EL enjoying the cool waters of Clear Creek.

And God sent a glorious afternoon of sunshine to welcome all His new soldiers.
Very thankful for our church family and the support they give.
God Bless and Good Night
