SMOKEY MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS AT DOLLYWOOD

Up to an earlier alarm this Sunday morning to get chores done and get ready to head across the mountain to Dollywood with the kids for the day.
The weather is perfect as we head out. Hubbie and I rode with daughter's family in her van, #1 son's family along with one of g-son's friends and Re and the kids also went along.
We left about 9:15 and caravanned over there.
The kids were all smiles in the trolley into the park from the parking lot.

The smiles only got bigger as the kids got to ride all the rides they wanted without much in line waiting time at all. #1 son whose family have season passes said he had never seen it this uncrowded anytime they had come this year.

The Christmas lights were really pretty even in the daylight.

We all took turns with the kids and eating and then we all met up to take a ride on the train that circles the park.

When the sun went down it surely didn't take the warmth of the day long to turn into a downright chilly evening and it didn't take the kids long to decide they were done with the rides and ready to head home. We enjoyed the lights as we walked out of the park.

We had a chilly ride back to our cars on the trolley but the smiles were still there even CA was still smiling.

We got home just before 9:00 to end a very enjoyable day.
Thankful for traveling mercies for the family today and for the gift of all the smiles we saw today.
God Bless and Good Night
