BUSY FRIDAY THE 13TH

Woke to all the grand kids coming in this morning. IR still isn't feeling up to par but she was happy to get into playing dress-up with RL before RL left for school this morning.
I took RL to pre-school .
This is a very bright spot as we drive up the drive right now with all the Forsythia in bloom.

I came home to watch more dress-up play and IR wanted to get her sister into the fun.

I called around trying to find some seed potatoes this morning and found that the only place that had them was Fletcher Feed where we go to buy all our feeds so we loaded up the girls and headed over there. Hubbie wants to get them cut this week-end so they can cure for at least a week before we plant them.
We also made a trip to Lowes for some garden soil to go into our planters.
CA had fun riding around at Lowes.
It was lunchtime by the time we got home and we all had a good lunch. IR isn't eating good yet but she did eat some and drank a lot.
I baked cakes while IR played picnic in the kitchen with the new picnic basket I found for her and RL yesterday.

After the girls left hubbie went outside to get some work done. It is a nice warm but cloudy day and some sure signs of spring are a load of soil in the back of my Honda and a blooming decorative peach tree.

We put the gravel in the bottom of the feeder on top of a layer of landscape fabric.
Then we filled it with the soil we bought.
We need a couple more bags as this will settle but this is perfect for a lettuce and spinach bed.
We finished chores and then came inside to relax for the evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying that this worldwide pandemic disease will soon be under control.
God Bless and Good Night
