ERRAND DAY

Had an earlier alarm this morning to get some morning errands done. It seems very very strange not to have any kids around.
I got chores done and then grabbed a bowl of fruit salad to go with my morning coffee. We headed out to meet a customers with eggs before going to pick up the market taxes from our accountant. Then we stopped by market and got the money for a deposit and went to both our bank and market's bank.
Daughter met us and we followed her out of town to check out a free swing set another teacher friend is giving her if we will come and take it down out of her yard.
The set is in pretty good condition and will do fine for the little girls but she will need to replace some of the timbers in it.
We left there and made a stop at the PO then at Fletcher feed to pick up garden seeds and chicken feed.
We stopped at d-in-love's house where daughter had picked up the free school lunches for the kids to drop off a couple things and then came home to have lunch.
We had a nice surprise waiting on our back door step as this box of frozen fresh beef is going to restock our freezer.

We put one of the steaks in the frig to thaw for tomorrow night. Can't wait to taste this pasture raised / grain finished beef. We have tried the grass fed beef from some local farms and the taste just isn't what we would really like so we're excited to find this small farm not too far from us to order from.
We had lunch then headed outside to work in the garden before the rain gets any heavier. It is a very cloudy day with misty rain at times so hubbie wanted to get the disk out and get the garden disked so if it does rain for several days we can be ready to rototill and plant when it dries up .
The soil really disk smoothly and looks so good I can't wait to get some seeds started.
I got chores done and then we watched Survivor and relaxed for the evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and thankful that our county is still clear of the corona virus.
God Bless and Good Night

Glad to hear you are all doing okay. All my outside of home activities have been suspended. I will mostly miss going to Church and Bible Study. My hubby is working from home 4 days a week. He has taken over my whole kitchen table with all his computer stuff - not good but necessary. Good thing we love each other as he already is driving me crazy. Guess i am too used to being alone most of the time. May God bless you all and keep you well.
