NEW COVID CASES , NEW BLOOMS AND NEW PUPPY

A very strange Saturday morning to me, to wake up leisurely with no market to go to.  The only time I have missed market on Saturday mornings for years is when we're on vacation or I have been sick a couple times.
We are living right now in unprecedented times and things are only getting worse with each day. This morning Mission Hospital announced 2 new positive cases of Covid 19 Virus and one of those is in Henderson county and one is in Buncombe county so it is definitely here. The virus is spreading rapidly all around the world.

I got chores done and then we worked in the garden once again getting more garden soil in another raised bed made from an old bathtub.
Daughter had took hubbie's truck to Lowes early this morning and got paint for the swing set they put up yesterday and some other things she needed along with our garden soil.
Thankful the kids don't want us in any stores right now taking a chance on getting sick.
We went over to her house after lunch to watch the girls while her and son-in-love got the swing set painted.
It is close to 80 degrees today and feels uncomfortably hot with the bright sunshine.
We came home and did more yard work until chores time.
Our pear tree is in full bloom in this warm weather.
Looks like baring any freezing weather we will have a bumper crop of blueberries.
Each time I gathered these colorful beauties now more than any other time I feel like kissing all the hens and saying a heart felt thank you !!
There is one very happy little lady around her this evening as she got a new puppy today. This little beagle that sports the name Rosco came to live with RL this evening.

RL couldn't keep the smile off her face but the look on Rosco's face in this pic wasn't as happy !!

Maybe g-son can get into the swing of on-line classes but he isn't getting off to a good start. !!!
Thankful for all the blessings of this day and praying hard for God's intervention into the spread of the Covid  19 virus . Praying all the family stays safe and healthy.
God Bless and Good Night
