WORK DAY and 1990 MARCH BIRTHDAYS

Up early again today to get an early start on a busy day. The sun was shining this morning thankfully after a very rainy night that left another 1.2 inches of rain in the gauge.

I got chores done and then hubbie and I headed out in his truck to get a bunch of errands done. Our first stop was meeting one of my egg customers to drop of 4 dozen eggs. Then it was on to Home Depot to pick up enough plywood to floor our covered patio. Left there and dropped off some mail at the Post Office. Our last stop was Johnson's produce to pick up the order for daughter, d-in-love and us that we put on-line yesterday.
At each place we went today there was respect for the social distancing rule and a lot of folks had mask on. We didn't use our mask, although we probably should have, we did wear gloves and opened doors with our elbows instead of our hands. We also used a lot of hand sanitizer each time we got back in the truck.
We got home just in time for lunch with daughter and all the kids at d-in-love's house.
We came home and spent the afternoon putting the plywood over this floor in the covered patio. These old deck boards are starting to get spongy and some of them have broken through so they were getting dangerous to walk on.

My job was screwing the plywood sheets down while hubbie cut them to fit. Even with the warm sunshine there was a very cool breeze blowing over the hill and sent me in to get my insulated
cover-alls on.

After they were all in place hubbie painted the plywood with some exterior deck paint to help preserve the wood. I totally forgot to take pics of the finished floor before we got things put back on it. It looks very good and is much much sturdier to walk on.

I cleaned the winter mold off all the tables, seats and toys in there .
We got the evening chores done and then hubbie and I crashed after a hard days work.  Neither of us are used to a days work lifting and crawling around on our knees so there are a lot of sore muscles tonight .
To continue with the March decade pics this is what was happening back in March of 1990. We had #2 son's birthday on the 1st day and he was 7 years old.

And daughter turned 5 on the 26th with a party or her own.

Happy birthday to Re today as she turns 34 years old.
Thankful that we are able to work like we did today and praying for all of us fighting against this Covid virus right now.
God Bless and Good Night
