QUIET SUNDAY AND 1960 AND 1980 MARCH MEMORIES

Another strange Sunday morning with no church except on-line. We got chores done and then listened to Spartanburg First Baptist Pastor , Don Wilton deliver his sermon today and try to calm the Covid 19 Virus fears with words of encouragement.
We fixed spaghetti lunch for everyone. #1 son's family, #2 son's family, daughter and her family all made it for lunch. BB has a stomach bug so they stayed home today.
It was a nice catch up time for everyone.
After everyone left I tackled cleaning up the kitchen and going through some cabinets that haven't gotten much attention in a while.
Hubbie is working around his shop .
It is a dreary cold day with temps only reaching upper 40's today making it feel very cold after yesterday's 80. The clouds have hung low all day but no rain came until a light mist started falling around chore time this evening.
To get started with the decade pics from xxx0's I found this old pic from March 1960 . This is a couple of my cousins, Aurelia and Naomi building a snowman at the dairy my first cousin, Howard ran. My dad was always there helping out so we spent a lot of time with all my cousins who met there.
Fast forward all the way to March 1980 and I am married and have a new family to have fun with.
Hubbie loved Nascar races so we followed the circuit that first year we were married. At this race in Atlanta hubbie and I attended alone …...

Hubbie's favorite driver was Richard Petty.
Also in March that year we went to the race in Bristol with hubbie's brother and sis-in-law.
 Another favorite driver, Dale Earnhart

Me, Cale Yarborough and sis-in-law Sandy.
 Marty and Sandy.....
 Sandy, Daryl Waltrip and me.....
Hubbie and I in a picture we had made that in March 1980.

Those were fun carefree days and good memories to bring up ,especially in today's world.
Thankful for the blessings throughout the years and of today and praying hard about he covid 19 virus .
God Bless and Good Night

I watched my Church's service on line yesterday morning also. Sure is weird not attending services. I am not liking this situation very much at all. All the panic sets off my anxiety way too much. Plus I am not used to having my hubby around all day. He is being forced to work from home and all his stuff - computers, etc - are all set up on my kitchen table. Only place he can set up. Keeping you all in my prayers that you all stay healthy.
