FIRST DAY OF CLOSED SCHOOLS

A little later wake-up time this Monday morning as with schools closed for students daughter or d-in-love didn't have to go in at their regular early times.
We have all 4 grandkids here today so it is going to be a busy day for sure and the cloudy sky doesn't look to conducive for outside play.

I got chores done and then boiled all the eggs I had gathered last Saturday. We are going to be eating lots of eggs these days with market closed.
All the kids had eggs, cereal and waffles for breakfast and then settled in for the day. They all enjoyed playing .

The kids were pretty wild today , maybe sensing the trouble in the world right now and not knowing any other way to handle the uneasy feelings.
Schools that are closed in all counties around us for teachers and workers as well as students isn't happening in our county for some unseen reason as they told teachers and workers today that unless they had compromising health conditions or family members with health conditions they would be expected to work 8-3 everyday.
Daughter filed papers to have the paid leave because of CA's heart condition and because hubbie and I are over 65 and in the high risk category.
She will have to go to work tomorrow to present the papers to her principle for final decision.
I got weekly laundry done today in between waiting on the kids and refereeing between the girls.
After all the kids left hubbie and I got chores done and then I covered the soil in all the raised beds with spectracide to keep all insects out . I wanted to get it spread today because it is supposed to rain tonight and that will soak it into the soil.
The temperature hasn't gotten out of the upper 40's all day today but no rain came from the clouds yet.
Hubbie got all our potatoes cut so they can cure over the next week or so until we can get them planted. This is just a few of the potatoes we have. Mostly Kennybacs and some red Pontiacs for early eating.

We had egg salad sandwiches for supper tonight and then relaxed for the evening.
Thankful for the blessings of the day and praying for God's protective arms around our family during this scary time.
God Bless and Good Night

Glad you all are doing okay. My hubby is being forced to work from home. So he has taken over my kitchen table with all his computer stuff. Not fun for me. But better to be safe than get sick. PRaying this is all over soon. Blessings
