DENTAL FIX SCHEDULED FOR IR and WE VOTED

Up to get chores done and welcome CA who is coming early today to stay while daughter takes IR to see a special pediatric dentist in Asheville.
I got chores done and had breakfast then hubbie and I took CA and took turns sitting in the car with her and going in to cast our vote for a local man in a run-off election for our congressional district.
When we got home CA was enjoying being the only one here and I had to laugh at her face in this first picture when I caught her pulling all her sisters shoes out.

She started saying "meow" today when she saw the cat.

We came back home and Addie came to stay while her dad got ready for work.
D-in-love, g-son and RL came up and had lunch with us then RL played with Addie until IR and daughter got here.
They have scheduled IR for all her dental work in mid July. She will be under the conscious sedation for about an hour while they pull one tooth and fix several other things. She is now on antibiotics to help with the abcessed that is causing her all the pain.
Thankfully she acted like she felt fine this afternoon after her first dose of antibiotics.
We all sat out in the covered patio and watched a storm pass with only a sprinkle of rain here. Daughter and d-in-love went up to our church and voted while we had all the kids.
Our local guy won the run-off after being an underdog so that was a good victory. Madison became paralyzed in 2014 in a car accident  and is confined to a wheel chair but he won the support of a landslide majority of voters today even winning in the other candidates own home county of Haywood.

After everyone left they all stopped by Re's to check out the baby goats and for the first time IR actually held one of the babies.
Hubbie and I got out some large coolers that we have had stored since we stopped having our own beef processed and washed them out good because we are going to pick up a quarter of beef we bought from one of daughter's friends in Marion, NC.
In this day and time it will be nice to have some extra meat in the freezer.
We got chores done and as I walked by the garden I stopped by these potato vines that are getting so tall and blooming. I am 5' 6" tall and these vines reach above my elbow !!!
We are hoping they aren't all vines this year with no potatoes under them.
We sat out in the covered patio again tonight and watched another storm skirt our area before the cool wind drove us inside.
Thankful for all the blessings of this day and praying for IR's dental procedure coming up.
God Bless and Good Night

I pray all will work out well for IR and her dental stuff. So happy your candidate of choice won. In this day and age a wheelchair is no longer considered a handicap. Just look at the Gov. of Texas. Have a blessed day.
