HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY TO IR

First day of summer started out cloudy but the sun soon won the battle.

We got chores done and then had breakfast.
After we ate we went up and worked in the garden awhile pulling weeds and I constructed a couple cane pole trellises for some potted tomato plants.
Daughter's family came over to pick up our old grill and IR got to open one of her birthday presents we bout her and she loved the Elsa doll that matched her outfit today.

Hubbie and son-in-love brought our new grill down from the barn and then loaded up the old grill in hubbie's truck and hauled it over to their house. We will be using it this afternoon at IR's party to grill hamburgers and hotdogs.
While hubbie was gone I watered my flowers around the house that were in the shade.
We had our first garden squash for lunch today as I had picked 2 small yellow squash and 2 zuchinni that were ready.

After lunch we worked a little more in the garden and then got ready to head over to daughter's house for the party to celebrate this sweet little girls 3rd birthday.

They had rented this huge water slide for the kids to play on but IR wanted nothing to do with it.

And even when her mom took her and slid down holding her she didn't get near it again all day.

I think CA would have been with the other kids sliding all the time.

All the other kids loved it .....

Even g-son loved sliding on it......

The kids also went back and forth to the little pool where IR was and played some with her.

She blew all the candles out on her "frozen" cake .

And loved the other present we got her.

She got lots of presents and all the kids enjoyed helping her get all of them opened.

One of her gifts was this pineapple bubble blower and they all like swinging through the bubbles.

CA had a great time and loved the balloons.

Hubbie and I left at 7:00 to get home and get all the animals fed and shut up for the night.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the joy of being around all these little ones.
