BOARD MEETING

A rainy Saturday morning ,even better to get to sleep in a little on.  I got rain gear on and got chores done.  There was already 6/10ths inch in the rain gauge from some pretty heavy showers over night.           We ate breakfast and then did some house cleaning all morning.  After lunch we greeted IR and CA to stay while their mom and dad went to a gender reveal of son-in-love's brother which it turned out to be a boy, congrats to Ben and Kristin and Addie who got her prayers answered !!

I had a Curb Market board meeting at market at 2:00 so I left hubbie and the girls here.                                 The meeting went well but lasted until 4:30 so I missed the girls being picked up just after 3:00 but hubbie said they were very good for him.                                                                                                           It has rained hard off and on all day and when we went out to get chores done this evening this end of the garden was standing full of water which is why we don't plant anything in this area.

We got done outside just as the rain began again and I empties 1.6 inches of rain from the gauge as I came inside.  We watched the news of the recently named tropical storm that looks poised to bring us some heavy rains toward the end of next week. Sally is a slow mover but is going to become a huge dangerous storm as she hangs out on the gulf coast over several days.
I'm beginning to wonder what the weather folks will do if they run the complete alphabet for storm names this season and need more ?????   I looked it up and they will move to the Greek alphabet and interesting also that I didn't realize the letters Q, U, X, Y , Z  are never used so that leaves this season only 3 names left for the season. Something else interesting is that this has only happened once before in history and that was as recently as 2005.                                                                                                  Thankful for the blessings of this day.                                                                                                           God Bless and Good Night
