RAIN RAIN and MORE RAIN, THANKS SALLY !!!

Well Sally is here and has been for a good while as there is already 1"of rain in gauge when I went out to do morning chores and got wet even with high boots and long raincoat.                                                  I came back inside and had breakfast with IR and CA.  They had waffles and syrup and I had oatmeal.    We played the morning away and then I headed out in pouring rain to make a cake delivery and pick up lunch. I managed to get soaking wet and was very glad it is at least warm today in the mid 70's.            After we all ate lunch daughter came by to pick me up to go to a kid's sale with her.   We got a lot of cheap stuff so it was very worth the trip. IR and CA were very happy with all the new toys I got for them to play with here.

It is still raining heavily and daughter and I got soaked going into the sale and coming out and drove through roads with lots of standing water on the way there and back home . Thankfully we made it .       After daughter took the girls home she sent me this picture of someone's pigs out in her driveway.
On Tuesday morning she had a mama bear and 6 cubs in her yard caught on her Ring camera and today these guys .  We have no idea who's pigs these are but they were friendly and soon left her yard and went to her neighbors.                                                                                                                                   Hubbie and I got chores done in a lighter rain than we have had all day. We had to move the chicken tractors all to dryer ground as there is lots of water standing everywhere. This is the end of our garden that always holds water.
The bottom pastures are starting to flood and there was 3.2 inches of rain in the gauge this evening and it is still raining but not as heavily thank goodness.
However we are very thankful that this is all "Sally" gave us as folks on the Alabama and Florida panhandle coast got drenched with historic rainfall amounts in some places. This storm delivered an unexpected punch that many did not expect.

We fianlly got inside and got dry for the last time tonight and rested for the evening.                                 Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for all the storm victims.                                              God Bless and Good Night
