BUSY FUN FRIDAY

Friday morning is clear and sunny and warming up quickly as I get chores done and then come inside to have breakfast with RL, IR and CA .  After we ate the girls went to work on lego construction while I baked 6 caramel cakes.     They were very proud of their creations !!

When the cakes were out of the oven we loaded the rugs up and headed to the laundry.  CA was all decked out and ready to ride !!
I put the rugs in the washer and then we headed to Edneyville elementary school to pick up lunches for the girls. We got back to the laundry loaded up our rugs and headed home to have lunch.    RL and IR love this chocolate milk in the little cartons and they love putting their straws in the same carton to dring together.

After we ate I got all the rugs hung out on the clothes line and then we took the girls all outside for some playtime.                                                                                                                                              We came back inside when they all got tired and then I put in a load of laundry of the furniture covers I took off from last month.

After the girls got picked up hubbie and I cleaned out the older hens house that I sold the hens out of yesterday and put it away for the season.  Then we cleaned out the camper cover tractor and put fresh shavings in it for the 7 largest roosters that are our meat roosters. We went ahead and moved them in it so we could clean out the tractor supply tractor and put fresh shavings in it for the 11 next biggest young chicks I hatched the end of June. They have totally outgrown the little chick house #1 son made.   We will move them after they go to roost tonight.                                                                                      We went over to Re's house to help her band a couple young male goats she was selling and then came home to get chores done.                                                                                                                              We got the chicks moved into the tractor supply tractor and I helped the older roosters find the roosting place in the camper cover tractor. I wanted to make sure they get up inside the camper cover so no predator can reach in and get  them.                                                                                                              We came inside and I iced the 6 caramel cakes I made this morning and then rested my back for a little while to listen to the news since we didn't get to see this evenings news.                                                   After a couple record tying 90+ days we are having a cool front move in this weekend with temps in the 70's which will feel so good.  The sky was pretty tonight with a few fleeting clouds and a breeze that felt really cool and nice.

Unfortunately the tropics are still very active and 3 possible named storms are brewing off the African coast.

This is a very busy year for the Atlantic hurricane season and already we are to the "P" name storm which is very rare to be there this early.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and humbly thankful for Jesus Christ a wonderful and gracious Savior.
God Bless and Good Night
