WELCOME SEPTEMBER 2020

September rolled in this morning with a dense fog. Unfortunately RL's other g-ma Deb hit a deer on the way up here to stay with RL today so she brought her here early to go have her car checked out by a local body shop.                                                                                                                                                          The girls all three enjoyed playing on the new climbing slide we put in yesterday.                                         I got chores done and then we all had breakfast, I had oatmeal and all the girls ate waffles with syrup.        After we were finished eating I delivered a cake and then came back to wait for Deb to get to #1 son's house in her rental car. Her car was deemed unfit to drive because one of the headlights was broken out.     We dropped RL off with her on our way to the Curb Market to do payroll for the month.   CA went to sleep quickly and slept the entire time we were out today.  We left market and stopped by the PO to mail a get well card to one of the market members and then stopped for lunch at Cook Out after making another cake delivery today.                                                                                                                                           It was a late lunch at after 1:00 when we got home but everyone got filled up and ready for a fun afternoon.                                                                                                                                                           We went outside for awhile and enjoyed a nice first day of September and I noticed these "Queen of the Meadow " weeds are really blooming pretty this year and they attract a lot of butterflies so they must be very sweet.

And all this grass makes me think fall is right around the corner for sure.

It is nice to live within walking distance for some of the grandkids as I saw these 2 coming up the back steps today for a treat even though other g-ma was at their house.

After daughter picked up IR and CA hubbie and I headed for the garden to pick the remaining tomatoes and I cut okra, picked the last spaghetti squash and found a couple late yellow squash and even a cucumber.  This is a couple panos of our September first garden. With all the rain we have let the weeds get ahead of us as you can tell.

We finished chores and hubbie loaded up our trash and recyclables and went over to daughter's to pick up hers while I came inside and watched the news. Today two tropical storms were named to welcome in September. Thankfully neither will affect the US coastlines.

Also welcoming in this new month is this year's "corn" moon that will be at it's peak just after midnight.
I took this picture as I came inside after moving some chicks into a larger brooder house and taking their mama hen away from them.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and always so so thankful for our loving gracious Savior Jesus Christ.
God Bless and Good Night
