PLAY DAY

Up to greet IR and CA this morning as RL is with her other g-ma today.  I got chores done and then we had breakfast.  After we ate we loaded the Honda and headed to town.  I have a couple egg deliveries and a cake and bread delivery to make for daughter along with our other regular errands and going to pick up chicken feed.                                                                                                                                      Both girls got good naps as we ran around getting everything done and our last stop was at Cook Out for some hush puppies and cheese quesadias that IR made a request for before she fell asleep.                  Both girls woke up when we were less than a mile from home so that was very good timing.                     We all had lunch together and then we went outside to let the girls play in the playhouse trailer since it is cloudy and the slide is cool enough to slide on.

And CA got her first playtime in the kitchen part of the playhouse trailer.

Daughter came to pick the girls up and then hubbie and I went to work in the garden. We got more collards and kale planted along with 6 broccoli plants we bought today. The first fall garden things we had already planted haven't done very well with all the dry hot days lately so we are crossing our fingers for this planting.

All the tomato vines are cleaned off this area in the garden except one that is still producing and seems to be very disease resistant.                                                                                                                            We got chores done and then headed inside . I emptied another 1/10th inch from the gauge from an overnight light rain we had last night.                                                                                                           More rain is predicted for our area over this weekend  and the tropics have 6 areas that are being watched at this time. Two already named storms, Paulette and Rene and 4 other areas that could develop.
Paulette is getting close to the coast but thanks to a high pressure ridge it will get pushed out to sea.
And these 2 areas in the gulf could form storms in the next few days.

I iced 3 more caramel cakes tonight and then relaxed for the evening.                                                         Thankful for the blessings of this day.                                                                                                          God Bless and Good Night
