NEVER FORGET

Friday seemed to have really taken it's time getting here this week even it has been a short work week.       Maybe it seems that way because I missed Monday and Tuesday suffering the effects of a migraine.           Anyway we greet all 3 grand girls this morning and they started out having a "Friday" kind of day also bickering and ill.                                                                                                                                                When I got back in from chores they were arguing over what to eat for breakfast so I took the choices away and fixed them all the same waffle and syrup and that settled that argument quickly.                            They play a little before we loaded up to make a cake delivery and then pick up my Sam's Club curbside order. CA took a short nap while we drove and then she woke up as soon as we got home.  We all carried groceries inside as RL and IR like to help with that chore.                                                                               After we got things put a way we all sat down for lunch. RL had mac and cheese, IR and CA had ham and cheese sandwiches along with hubbie and he added a salad to his and I sauteed some left over smoked chicken and had a salad also with it.                                                                                                                  We headed outside to work off some of the energy  that seems to be the norm of today. The girls all swung and played in the play houses until they were tired and that made the rest of the afternoon easier.                 After the girls were picked up hubbie and I watched the news and then got chores done.                              I noticed this large Peace Lily bloom as I walked by this evening. I love these blooms as they make me smile and they also make me remember father-in-law as I bought this Peace Lily for his funeral.

We ended the day watching the sun go down in the haze from the smoke from the fires in the western states that are really terrible right now.
On this day we remember the over 3000 victims of the terrorist attack on the twin towers in New York.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.

God Bless and Good Night
