Strange Monday morning to not be greeting any of the grand kids. Schools are closed today for an optional teacher workday. I got chores done and then had a leisurely breakfast before getting weekly laundry started. Hubbie is doing yardwork that he has been putting off. After I got my laundry started I watered all the plants I brought inside and then took some of the plants back outside and watered and fertilized them. The temperatures are now going above average for the next at least week so they will be better off outside. I also took time to clean some of them up of their dead leaves and spruced them up so they will look good when they get hung in the sunroom windows for winter.
I looked around at all the fall blooms I have that are so pretty still since thankfully the cold and frost didn't do us any damage. These morning glories have been so pretty all summer and are still going strong.
These Coleus are still so pretty in their Fall colors. My mums are blooming now very nicely.
These impatiens are still blooming under this spring plant that has also bloomed all summer. I also have several flowering spring plants that appear to be completely confused about when they are supposed to bloom. Butterfly bushes are once again putting out nectar filled blossoms.
These little Astors are returning from some plants I planted last year.
One of the Daylilly plants decided to put out one fall bloom !!
Along with this Azalea bush that put out one bloom and several buds this fall instead of waiting till spring.
The Forsythia is filled with Fall blooms which probably means not so much spring color . And this one Rose bush decided to put out an extra show of color this fall.
And you can never deny the beauty of these Beauty Berry bushes and all their purple berries each Fall right on time.
I made a cake delivery this afternoon and finished laundry while hubbie mowed the lawn and then we got chores done and cleaned the cattle panels that we let beans and cucumbers climb out of the garden. Only a few more post and the summer garden will be officially put to bed for winter and we can turn all our attention to our fall and winter crops. There was a beautiful sunset this evening as a few stray whispy clouds filled the sky. I ended the day watching the sunset while I sipped on one of the new tea varieties I bought last Saturday at the farmers market. This was a very good tasting one. Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night

Most of the flowers are gone from here, too cold. Yours are so pretty. You sure do have some gorgeous sunsets. That tea blend sound delicious. Blessings
