BUSY TUESDAY

This will be a quick post tonight and one of a few times I post without pictures. Today has been a nice day with temps in the upper 70's and a nice breeze with the sunshine and clouds. I poured a little over 1" of rain from the gauge this morning after last nights rain and another 3/10ths this evening at chore time from a passing rain storm between 4:00 and 5:00.
The hard rains are suppose to move in tonight, yuck !!
G-son was here at the regular 7am but went back to sleep again until after 8:30.
He walked with me again today and we talked alot so I forgot to take any photos for today.
I did laundry and housework while he helped this morning then we did what he wanted to this afternoon. Which of course was outside to tell stories and eat popsicles while we sat in the shade.
His dad picked him up as hubbie came in from work.
After evening chores hubbie went up to #2 son's house to help with some little things that the buyer wants done before the closing date.
I did weekly paperwork a day early so I can get to the banks and post office tomorrow as they will all be closed Thursday.
I also baked cakes tonight to get a good start on all the holiday orders for Thursday. I baked 18 caramel,5 chocolate,1 coconut tonight and will bake more tomorrow.
It is almost 11:30 and my back is telling me just how much I have done today so I am off to soak in a hot tub before bed.
I thank God tonight for all my blessings of this day.
I will leave with this thought.
Good Night and God Bless.

Where is No. 2 son living now, Marilyn? Did he find another home yet?

I dread the next couple of days here. Our weatherman here said tonight that Crossville could get about 5 inches of rain on Wed and Thurs.... Sad for all of the 4th of July celebrations going on here...

Hope you don't get that much rain---and hope our weatherman is WRONG....

Hugs,
Betsy

Rain, rain go away, come again some other day. Seems to be the theme song of many people theses days. Blessings

I love this quote you placed on your blog, it's beautiful.

Get yourself some rest for your back, and have a wonderful 4th of July.
