G-son is one of the flag raisers each morning at his school. This is the first Monday in this new year that the schools have been open ! He is on the left looking at the pole.
I did chores while RL had some breakfast. She is taking a strong antibiotic for her ear infections so she wasn't very hungry this morning.
On the way to pre-school she went to sleep and I carried her in still sleeping. The assistant teacher had her baby last week and she brought it and her son into the class just as g-daughter RL was waking up and that was all it took to get her fully awake looking at that tiny baby !!!
I came home to get IR and me our breakfast.
I got the weekly laundry started and then put away last weeks laundry. IR took a short nap just before I headed back out to pick up RL.
RL still wasn't hungry only eating 1 of the chicken nuggets I took her before she slumped against the side of the car seat and closed her eyes.
Hubbie carried her inside when we got home and we had lunch while IR watched cartoons from the dining room table.
After we ate I fixed her a bottle and hoped that she too would take a nap in the quiet house but that wasn't to be as she wanted to chat loudly and practice her screaming voice so hubbie had to sit in the sunroom with her to avoid waking up RL.
I did more laundry and then RL woke up and wanted me to hold her for awhile until she could get woke up. She had slept about 1 1/2 hours.
She didn't act like she felt very well this afternoon until I finally got her to eat some cheese. I think the antibiotic is making her stomach hurt when it gets empty. This was a good day to just sit and watch the light rain that started falling outside .
Re called and needed to run an errand in town so she dropped the kids off here for a couple hours.
Talk about a full house !!!
Pawpaw's lap was a popular seat today as soon as one would leave a spot it would be filled with someone else.
And these two hardly ever get this close together without fighting over something !!!
They all played well together until all their mom's picked them up.
We did chores in the rain this evening but thankfully it is a warm 52 degrees.
This little guy had his annual exam this morning and was declared very healthy.
Whew !!!! This has been a busy day to get back in the regular routine on but I am thankful for all the blessings it contained and for all these youngsters and the joy they bring watching them grow up .
