BUSY MOVING DAY AND WAITING ON THE SNOW

Up to greet g-daughter IR only this morning as RL is headed to the doctor this morning to have a flu test as she has ran a fever all night. Hubbie left early to pick up g-son and get him to school at 7:30 so d-in-love wouldn't have to drag RL out in the cold early morning.
When he got back I went outside to get the chores done. No broken windows or anything out of the normal today thankfully.
I had breakfast when I came inside then fed IR her fruit and cereal and bottle before we got ready to head over to daughters to clean up outside her house. She loves plants and flowers and has plenty of pots and containers all around that had to be brought here. It'll be interesting to see what plants come back in some of the pots this spring.
We worked until lunchtime and had hubbie's truck packed full .
We came home and we all had lunch. IR is so good and sat in my car while we worked just watching us walk back and forth.
Hubbie went up and unloaded his truck of all the outside stuff and we headed back over to her house. Since they are predicting snow starting sometime this afternoon or evening we are in a time warp now to get all this moved and cleaned up.
We packed up the things I knew where they went then I cleaned in the kitchen cabinets, stove, microwave and refrigerator while IR sat in her bouncy seat and cheered me on !!
She acted like she was happy to be home, poor little thing , it'll take her a while to adjust to a new home but as long as mommy and daddy are there she'll be fine.
Daughter came in from school and we really made progress as son-in-love's brother Ben and his wife and daughter came to help. We loaded hubbie's truck once again as hubbie and Ben put the old extra refrigerator in the bed to be hauled to the metal buyer when we get a chance and filled the inside full of things to go to her apartment . We also filled her car full of apartment things and my car full of storage stuff. We have a few things left but one more trip should take care of it and then it will need to be cleaned before Friday.
The weather wizards keep upping the total for the snow in our area which makes me very nervous as they surely haven't done a good job of getting things right this winter with these storms. The last time they predicted this amount of snow back in December we got 12 inches !!!!
This doesn't look like a lot of snow but with the cold temps we have had all week every flake that falls will accumulate on the ground and with lows in the mid teens tonight and the high around 20 degrees tomorrow there certainly won't be any melting.
It's going to be interesting to see if they get this one right. The latest news is that the speed of the storm has slowed making accumulation totals go up.
I got home from daughter's with just enough time to get chores done before dark for the second day in a row . Thankfully with the 40 degree high today the water wasn't frozen this evening.
Just as I let Rocky, Tif's dog out for his daily run hubbie made it home after going by daughter's apartment and unloading all the stuff she wanted there.
We got all the outside things finished and I stopped before coming back inside to see how the air felt. To me it doesn't really feel like snow except for the eerie quietness of the evening.
D-in-love had music practice tonight and #1 son had a meeting at church so both  RL and g-son came up to keep us company while they were gone.
I am so glad this sweetie pie doesn't have the flu , only a respiratory virus.
Each time I look at g-son he seems to look more and more like a teenager. He is really going to be a handsome guy with that dark hair and his blue eyes.
After d-in-love picked them up hubbie and I watched the second half of the UNC / Clemson basketball game which UNC won in a very good game and it continued UNC's streak of victories over Clemson at UNC to 59 and keeping Clemson from ever beating them at home.
It's been a long ,busy day and I am ready for a hot bath and an early bedtime.
Thankful for a wonderful busy but blessed day and for the grace God extends to me each day.
God Bless and Good Night
