GREAT SUNDAY

A cloudy morning greeted us this morning but the sun soon won the battle and was heating up the muggy air quickly.
I got chores done and then helped hubbie make meat loaf and get the potatoes and corn on the stove to cook before church and I made some cucumber salad and iced tea to go with lunch.
Church was good today as daughter brought both girls and EL sat with us to help entertain them during church.
They were all very good the entire time with the Lord's Supper being served and 4 folks joining church at the invitation time. All the Glory be to God !!
We came home and fixed fresh green beans and fried squash and a peach cobbler to go with everything else for lunch. #1 son's family, Aa's family, daughter and the girls joined us and everyone enjoyed the meal and the kids played  and played and enjoyed each other. D-in-love enjoyed little bright eyed CA today.
Just as Aa's family and daughter and the girls left my brother called and said the guinea hen that was setting on a nest in one of his flower beds had a bunch of little guinea chicks headed our way.
RL wanted to help so she hubbie and I were able to get them all into the big lot but the tiny chicks could just slide right through the 1 inch chicken wire lot so we had to catch them all and put them in a brooder box with the mama Guinea hen.
RL loved this part of the job.

The mama guinea was too protective for me to get a picture of her and all 16 babies but maybe later I can get one.
After #1 son's family went home hubbie and I relaxed for a little while.
I watered all my under the porches plants this afternoon before chores. Thankful that enough rain has been falling that none of the outside plants need watering today.
Choretime was pretty uneventful except the other setting guinea that was on a nest below our house came in apparently abandoning her nest. When I went to check the nest a lot of the eggs were broken and flies were blowing the remaining 8 eggs so she must have known that things weren't going correctly for her to hatch any babies.
After chores I relaxed for the evening after visit from #1 son's family to have left overs for supper.
Thankful for the many blessings of this Sunday.
God Bless and Good Night

Sounds like a wonderful Sunday, especially with 4 new members for your Church. Blessings
