HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

Happy 243 rd birthday America !!!!

We were up and getting chores done and making potato salad for our cookout tonight.
Ben and Kristen picked us up about noon to go with them and daughter's family to a newly opened winery called Point Lookout Vinyards on Sugarloaf mountain.
The views were really nice from up here and it was a beautiful place to have lunch from a BBQ truck and do some taste testing of their wines.

The food was delicious and the wines were good too. We enjoyed our trip up there along with the company.
We left there about 3:00 and went by the blackberry farm of our friends to pick up a couple gallons of blackberries .
We came home to rest and get chores done early so we could get over to Aa's house for our annual cookout and fireworks.
We also took our ice cream churn with some peach ice cream in it and some zucchini squash to grill.
We were joined by #1 son's family, daughter's family, Ben's family, Aa's dad and stepmom and Ryan a friend from church who's family is on the mission trip this week.
The kids had a blast, the food was delicious and the fireworks were awesome and we just beat Mother Nature's stormy fireworks and rain that came just as Aa and #1 son and g-son finished shooting the fireworks off.

A fun day ended with only about 1/10th inch of much needed rain for us but all around us there was wind and storm damage so we are very grateful we didn't get the bad storms.
Hubbie and I came home and crashed happy and tired.
Thankful for all the blessings of this day and for the friends and family the Lord has blessed me with.
God Bless, Good Night and Happy Independence Day
